On March 8, 2011 approximately 70 high school students and their teachers attended Student Day at the 2011 Governor's Occupational Safety and Health Conference at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. The program included:

Safe driving tips
Working with employers, panel and discussion
Exploring the exhibit hall and watching the Columbia Forklift Challenge
